Children's Ministry Deb Doepp

e-Kids Global

Our Children’s Ministry exists to encourage the kids of VCFGP to establish a relationship with Jesus.  We want to see the children explore their gifts as they commit to spread God’s unconditional love through communities abroad and locally.  Together we will help our kids embrace God’s plan for their lives while equipping them for the road ahead. We desire to empower the children in this ministry to share with the world the gospel of Jesus Christ and see them excited to engage in His kingdom here on earth through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our Goals

Prayer: To see the children praying individually and for others, being led by the Holy Spirit.

Worship: To see the children grow in their understanding of singing, praising, hearing from God and walking with Him.

Teaching: To see the children learn and understand God’s Word.

Outreach: To see the children share Jesus with their family and friends.

After family worship the children are dismissed to their classrooms. The classrooms, Nursery, Toddlers and Kid’s church (grades Pre K – 6) are staffed by screened volunteers.

Nursery ages 0 – 2: You may drop your infant off in the Nursery Room. There is a ‘sign in’ and pager system in place. The room is staffed by experienced mothers who will care for your child in a loving manner.

Toddlers ages 2 – 4: Your toddler will have a relevant program where group participation is encouraged, but also free time to play. The staff teaches a short Bible story, song time and a craft related to the lesson.

Kid’s Church (ages 4 1/2 – 12): Is held upstairs. All ages meet together in the large classroom for songs, objects lessons, skits, puppets, memory verses and Bible lessons. Then they go to separate classrooms for age appropriate discussions of applications to the lesson. The younger ones will do an activity or craft related to the lesson. Snack is provided.
